Stewart Black MRICS MCIOB* has 34 years experience in frontline construction, working with a wide range of major companies as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. He cut his teeth training with Higgs and Hill PLC on projects as diverse as St Georges Hospital Medical School and Portsmouth Crown Court, with an interim spell at Nico, before completing his mainstream employment as the surveying boss of a 135,000 sq. ft. new build development in Boreham Wood for Alfred McAlpine Management Limited. From this point he established Stewart Black and Associates, a Chartered Quantity Surveying practice and subsequently Construction and Management Limited, a successful project managing and construction managing business specialising in commercial offices.
