About Us

Construction and Management Limited was set up in 1997 in response to the demand from Clients to provide better alternatives to the existing methods of appointing separate management consultants and separate builders to complete a project.

More specifically it was recognized that Clients wanted not just the comfort of the professional consultant ethic and advice, but also the hands on approach to getting things physically built, as opposed to just built on paper.

We can offer this as a single entity.

Stewart Black has combined his 25 years experience in frontline construction for major companies, as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, with that of Neil Hartland with 30 years experience in major commercial interior design and Phil Pollard with a similar amount of construction man management expertise to effectively offer a multi-disciplinary board.

These combined strengths enable us to provide, from the very inception of a project, better collective advice, as we can provide both theoretical and practical knowledge, and turn your project ideas into more cost effective tangible realities.

Giving the client what he, she or they want has given us a healthy repeat business record, comprising projects from mainstream ’out-of-the-ground’ projects, and central London listed building refurbs, to designer retail, private hospital and hedge fund ‘fast track’ ‘fit-outs’.
